Dumpster Diving
14Jun08
A couple months ago, I told myself that I’d start regularly blogging again, but I think I might talk too much to constantly feel the need to publish my ruminations in any capacity. And thinking critically, in this college graduation farewell tour that I’ve fully engrossed myself in, has been a pretty foreign endeavor lately.
But then I read this post from one of my favorite blogs, Architectures in Control, where the author finds a book that heavily influenced him in the dumpster. It is hardly the focus of the entry, but it got me thinking:
What if there’s some good in the trash?
Maybe not. But I’m sure I’ll think of something.

Good luck with your new blog. I hope it works out well for you.
I came here from a mention by Ryan Holiday.
From what I have seen thus far, you are certainly not any worse off for returning to blogging than anyone else who creates an account to share their thoughts and musings with the world.
I am certainly not yet producing great content, but I think anytime I apply some thought to a topic and manage to hit ‘Publish,’ I have won a victory over idleness.
Keep up the good work.
Just read your ‘Fight Club Philosophy’ from your old blog and was impressed. If you can keep writing things like that then I’ll be hooked. I recommend you repost it on your new blog since I’m sure others will be interested but won’t bother checking out the old site.
Anyway, good luck with the new blog.
